Text Box: Five times BBC Radio 2 Folk Award nominee Jim Causley is a singer/musician who is passionate about traditional song and particularly that of his native Westcountry.
Jim received further acclaim for his work as part of a cappella trio; The Devil’s Interval whose album ‘Blood & Honey’ (WildGoose) also received another BBC Folk Award nomination in 2007. Jim has become renowned for natural gift for interpreting traditional song, his deep, rich voice which belies his years and his relaxed and playful stage presence. 
Jim is well known to the club - always entertaining  and vastly busy producing new albums (such as Forgotten Kingdom), many inspired by his Devon homeland. You may have seen him on TV singing 'Pride of the Moor' (Song to the Tin) on Countryfile last year.
